I like the idea of our tears quenching god's thirst (it's one of my favorite things I have ever said) because I think it's true. We are taught (well, I was taught) to be ashamed of our tears, to withhold them as though they are disgraceful in some way or burdensome to others. But I think being real and letting our hearts show is one of the truest gifts we can give. Not that I'm so good at doing it in life... too much counter training... but I still think it's a goal to be strived for. To be truly human with our friends and our children is a great generosity in my book.

I'm very wordy tonight. Sorry. I just watched a movie called THE MARTIAN CHILD. Odd and thought-provoking. Seems to have stirred me up a bit. Has some lovely moments to it.

As always, thank you for feeding my ego with your kind words. It's a ravenous ego and it likes being fed.Ravenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04996538460071167819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36130350.post-72920640645854272802008-02-29T01:30:00.000-05:002008-02-29T01:30:00.000-05:00I love this writing and while you have to feel com...I love this writing and while you have to feel comfortable with moving pieces forward for publishing....your writing is worthy of the effort and I would support you. And I think you are very young at heart with lots of spirit-age is just a number. (that I have stopped counting, honestly)

I love how Frank's soul comes alive and how he is able to sit with his emotions-not escape them at the end. That is something I work on everyday with not much success.
