It Was a Snowy Sunday in Hancock

Hi all,

Cyber-vision has been restored to me at last. I'm a bit tired tonight so I'll just post a few pictures of Sunday's winter whiteness. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to think of something intelligent to say. Or even something unintelligent. I've missed you. Feels good to have a working screen again, though I did enjoy getting some reading in during my week without cyberspace.

Welcome back, Raven. It looks chilly at your place. I am glad you stayed warm.

While you were gone my laptop died, I signed up for a Photography class, and I started Bell Choir. I also took the most incredible photo of my life -- but you didn't miss anything important.

Oh gosh!! That snow is already looking very cold to me. I can't imagine how cold it is like to be there.

lovely photos...so happy for you that you're back online! I'm sure you're exhausted from all the inaugural coverage yesterday.

I had a doctor appointment, so I took the whole day off, knowing I'd want to be in front of the tv all day. We got out of the appointment after the inauguration had started, so we went to the cafe where all the democrats hang out...sure enough, they had a big screen tv up and we watched with a crowd cheering through the whole thing. It was wonderful! Then we rushed home to continue watching. My face sort of hurt by the end of the night from smiling so hard all day! (We wore our Obama Biden pins to my appointment!)

Wow, that's a real winter wonderland. We haven't had that much snow.
My favorite pic is the fifth one with the wooden fence (gate).

So good to have you back.

I love that view down the yard towards the other house. That is a beautiful scene. Black and white rules!

I know you're probably getting tired of looking at that white stuff. I got tired of it after 10 days.

But those pictures are stunning! It looks so peaceful.

And welcome back!
