Shadow Shot Sunday

I had a lot fun with Shadow Shot Sunday last week and the sun came out a few times this week so I thought I'd give it another try. Shadow Shot Sunday hosted over at Hey Harriet's blog and if you like shadows (as I do), check out all the wonderful posts featuring shadows of all kinds. Here's what I came up with for this week.

LOL! Kitty does not look like she wants to participate in your shadow pictures! She wants her sunlight!

Our winters in Oregon can be pretty gray. It really makes me appreciate days with shadows all the more! Yours are beautiful.

Wonderful sets of shadows and so glad the sun is out. Each shadow is special on its own but my fav is the cool kitty under the table :D

Lots of lovely shadows. I love the first ones and the second to last best. I really like soft shadows on the gently rolling ground.

These are all great Shadow shots. I really like the 1st and last, perhaps because we don't have snow.

Fantastic variety of shadow shots.

Love all shots, though kitty doesn't seems happy joining our game §:-)

Oh, my! Raven, this is a gorgeous series of shadow shots! I'm with Di. It's hard to pick a favorite.

The tree shadows on snow are a treat. I saw many nice ones yesterday while on a day trip to a museum but we had a car-full of family and a timeline to get there, so I couldn't pull over to take pictures.

I love the bears, too. But I especially love the kitty under the chair. The composition, the shadow, the light and the beautiful cat all make for a really spectacular photo.

Nice work!

Shadows with catitude, it's the perfect combination. I'm going to have to work harder to make a collection of shadow!

Loved the shadows on the snow - and the cat!
in fact all of them.
Was so interested to hear you lived in NYC.
I would really prefer to live in the country but do my best to enjoy what surrounds me!
All the best for 2009

My favorite is Angel under the chair! I like the snow of the next to last pic too.

I love the textured green curtains. The soft weave reminds me of old tablecloths. The terraced shadows an invitation to step out.

Tara Grace is irresistible.

Another wonderful series of photos ... and I'm looking forward to buying a new camera (thinking about a Nikon d60) so I can take better photos and participate in more of these photo memes ;--)

Great shadow shots. For a woman who doesn't leave home, you certainly know how to plumb the depths of visual diversity in your immediate surroundings.

Don't I sound like a sociologist?
