Shadow Shot Sunday

Decided to participate in Shadow Shot Sunday again this week, though I don't have that many shots - and I didn't want to bore everyone with more pictures of tree shadows on my neighbor's front lawn. Gets pretty repetitive after a while. I did include one from a different part of the yard that's a bit different, I hope. Shadow Shot Sunday hosted over at Hey Harriet's blog and if you like shadows (as I do), check out all the wonderful posts featuring shadows of all kinds. Here's what I came up with for this week.

Not sure this icicle really counts as having shadows or
is just kind of made of light and shadow, but I like the
reflectionsin the drop... You can see my little house.

Different spot in my neighbor's yard...

Angel and Tara Grace graciously made shadows for me
behind the curtains.

I contemplated saving this one for Ruby Tuesday but... these are my new prayer flags.

Hopefully, I can get someone to hang them for me in the near future.

That's it for me. May all your shadows be beautiful.

Love the kitty shadows!
I keep forgetting about this meme. I guess I better write it down. I've been looking for something different to do.

I love the shadows in ice! Very creative. The cat shadows are so sharp and beautiful too. The prayer flags are more subtle.

These are all great shadow shots. Especially the kitty shadows. Love the dark cat shadows against the green! The house in the icicle is neat!

Yay! Prayer flags. I have them also. You could always repost the shot for Ruby Tuesday if you have no other reds on the day. I'm sure the wonderful Mary wouldn't mind. I hope you find someone to hang your flags soon. Until then you could maybe just string them up somewhere around your house near a window to appreciate them :)

As I view your wonderful shots, contemplating another hot, steamy day here in Brisbane, Australia, your icicle looks soooo cool!

Angel and Tara Grace are the perfect models for that shot. I am trying to figure out which shadow goes with which cat. I think the first one is Angel and the second photo is Tara Grace?

As always lovely photos like the icicle is so fascinating and well as the trees, yard and prayer banners.

Stay warm and blessings.

Awesome icicle shadow, I do see your house! So many curtain shadow shots this week, they are the best. You kitties are adorable too.

Thanks everybody.

Finding Pam - It's Tara Grace behind the curtain in the first two shots and Angel in the third.

So many great shots. I love the kitties, but the icicle with the reflection of your house is amazing!

I love all these, but my favourite is the last cat photo, it really looks so dramtic with the cat and the sunlight streaming on her face, the green cotton curtains make sucha wonderful texture on top of it too..

Creative 'shadow shot' sharing ... I enjoyed them all! I participated for the first time with a Shadow Shot collage in my Sunday post at Sacred Ruminations.
