Skywatch Friday-ish

It's Skywatch Friday (Thursday, actually) again. Between endlessly gray skies and computer problems, I haven't participated for a few weeks. Don't have much to share despite that. Please check out all the other sky-watchers at the link above and you'll see lots of glorious sunsets and sunrises and clouds and other wonderful sky scenes. We haven't had much sun this month, but we did have a few days when the sky was something other than gray.

This is what the sky has been like most of the time. I posted a bunch of snow photos a couple of days ago and the sky is so gray that some thought the pictures were black and white. I have to admit that the world feels very monochrome these days and the rare blue skies are especially nurturing to the spirit.

I like them all but the sixth one with the snow covered tree branches is my favorite!
I smiled at how much your first two look like my two. :)

Love your old fashioned icicles! Great snowy shots. I hope you get the pleasure of seeing mammatus. They are amazing, truly glorious.

Beautiful array of trees and ;skies. Love the snowy branches too - like snow, underlined!

The barest branches are the ones that jump out. Cool crisp images.

The world here has looked almost B&W too, which can sometimes be very beautiful. I Love the look of bare, graceful branches against the sky.

Your skies are very pretty. You could have saved a couple for next week, but thanks that we can see them now.
Happy SkyWatching, it's been a while. I've been out too, since Dec 5th. Today my sky is one from Florida instead of Texas.

I enlarged the last photo, and got a great view of the icicles on the eaves. Thanks for skywatching with us.

I love the clouds in your photos, and the third one with the little building looks like a Christmas card.

How LOVELY is this winter series of photos today once again. The first was my favorite until I saw the third and fourth and now I just can't choose.

Hello Raven!
I really enjoyed all your skywatch photos this week. Living in Southern California right now makes me appreciate the winter that parts of our country enjoy. There's is such beauty to snow on branches that I appreciate. I hope you have a peaceful weekend!

I fell for the one without the sky, but nearly B6W with snow on the branches.

Great series here! The thing I love about your lane are all the deciduous trees. Just an ever changing sky, isn't it?
