Ruby Tuesday

Ruby Tuesday - hosted by Mary/the Teach at Work of the Poet - is here again. Great way to see lots of wonderful reds from around the whole world.

Today I just have a couple of robins and my flowering quince (I think that's what it is) getting ready to put on her full display.

It's about noon my time. Since I set this up to post last night, I spent the morning obsessively trying to take pictures of bumble bees. I swear they toy with me. They actually buzz the door and hover there and then just when I get them in focus they flit off. Very frustrating. But I finally got two fairly cool shots... not as zoomed in as I would have liked, but at least there are bumble bees in them. Now I'd better go sign Mr. Linky and start visiting others. Oh... that last quince photo was taken a few minutes ago... how quickly the blossoming is moving now.

Great bee shots and love those flowers. I can never get close enough to robins to ever get a good robin shot. Love your photos and thanks for sharing a little bit of your morning.

Raven, this couple of robin is wonderful for Ruby Tuesday. I don't remember having the opportunity to see one so clearly.
I perfectly know the difficulty to take pictures of birds. They're so quick to disappear.
Wonderful pictures.
These red flowers, particularly the picture against the green grass, gives a fantastic "painting" of spring.

Capturing pics of bees in flight is no easy task! I think you did a great job on that second one!

Lovely series for today! I wish we had more colorful birds where I live. I can't wait to see those bushes burst into bloom!

The birds, bees and berries are beautiful. And perfect reminders that Spring in its glory has arrived from the Southern Tier to Scandinavia...and always after Winter, very much appreciated!

Great shot of the Robin! That flowering quince looks remarkably like a bush I have in the front yard. I may have to post a photo of it and ask for your feedback! :-)

Thanks everyone for your kind words...

Pagan Sphinx - I'm afraid I'm not a good source of information. I learned yesterday from posting it, that something I have is called a "hasta" and I call this a flowering quince because it is the first thing I posted for Ruby Tuesday about a year ago and I said I didn't know what it was. Somebody said it was a quince and I googled and it looked like it matched... I know tulips, daffodils, and the real basics but after that I'm useless.

Who knows why but my mind has that first bee riding a pony. Seems like such a noble robin.

Dear Raven,
I became stalled in answering.
Had to make some "emergency calls".
I'm impressed how you manage to take part in nature and the changing seasons from behind your window.

My husband wood have called you a real pioneer, with a fighting spirit that penetrates steel.

I like your pictures. The red flowers, blossoming on naked branch (before the leaves come), we call fire-wood.

I have wondered about your cats. Are they in/ and or outdoor cats?

I remember our old Citrin. She went bananas trying to catch a bee on the other side of the window glass.

Poor old warrior!

I'm too shortsighted to spot a robin outdoors, but my ears are well functioning. They sing lovely this time of year.

Raven,
I'm so happy every time you write. You are spreading light and joy in my bloglife.
Thank you for being you.
From Felisol

Even in the most sexually liberated and self-satisfied of nations, many people still yearn to burn more, to feel ready for bedding no matter what the clock says and to desire their partner of 23 years as much as they did when their love was brand new.
The market is saturated with books on how to revive a flagging libido or spice up monotonous sex, and sex therapists say “lack of desire” is one of the most common complaints they hear from patients, particularly women.
