Happy July 4th from the Land of Occasional Sun

Happy 4th of July!

I don't have anything much to say but I had a lovely visit from the cutest bunny yesterday and I thought I'd share them.... lots of them. Hope you are all having a glorious day. The sun is in and out but at least it's showing itself today. We have had rain, rain and more rain here.

Isn't he/she just adorable?

I know this one is blurry, but I like the action...

And away we go...

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!

oh... and Dianne's a Nana (grandma) of a beautiful baby girl...

Precious bunny, Raven. Great pictures, as always. What kind of camera do you use? I'm in the market.

Happy 4th everyone.

Janie - I have a Canon Powershot with 10x zoom. It's in the other room so I can't give you the exact number right now. I got it at Amazon.com which had the best prices... at least at the time. I think I got one of the last two before it went out of stock.

I hope you're enjoying the day!

Thank you for the bunny pic. They were delightful.

Happy 4th of July! Congrats on the new baby. AND, I love the bunny pics -- especially that last hop! The End! LOL

FABULOUS photos! I love the last one, too!

I've been busy here...Darryl and Devon don't get back from W.V. until late tomorrow night. Been cleaning and cooking. (I'm going to blog about the cooking part, since that's not really me!)

Not going anywhere to see fireworks...just staying in. Kate's working, so it will be just me and the four-leggeds...I think they're really enjoying having me around more...I could totally get used to taking summers off!!!

Did you get really close or were you using a zoom lens? Great shots whatever. :)

Despite their cuteness, I am angry at our local bunnies for eating my bean plants. We finally got a small electric fence in place. My husband was threatening to kill them (I doubt he would have the heart to do it) so this was our solution. There is plenty of new grass and lots of tiny sunflower plants (sprouting from bird seed) for the rabbits, so they won't strave without the beans.

Should have posted on the first day of July when everybody was saying " Rabbit, Rabbit".
Good pictures.

Dr. John is funny!
Your weather is exactly like ours. Tomorrow and a few days after it is supposed to be pretty nice.
Love the bunny shots and the end one is perfect.
Hubby walked up on a baby one this weekend but by the time my camera was ready he hopped away. I was just glad we got to see it. Seems that big bunny I got a couple of weeks ago was probably Mama. :)

Thanks, Raven. I'll check it out.

Dear Raven,
God bless your land of occasional sun!
Hope you had a fine day.
Your garden pictures are so special.
How patient you must be to catch the glimpses of the frightened rabbit.
I guess he/she knows there is nothing to fear.
Do you use a stand for your camera?
I am so impatient, cannot even bother to learn the manual handling of our G9 Powershot. (Smaller lence , only 6x zoom.)
I'm trying to pick up an idea or two among the bloggers and from Gunnar & Serina.
Oh, I've got such a long way to go.

Thank you for sending Reiki.
My hand has improved, but silly me is both blogging and handling a hand saw in the garden today. Now I'm soon back to previous status.
I am too like my mother. I feel so content and alive when I can work.

I'll pray for some sun for your garden.
From Felisol
