We had our first snow yesterday. It was what I call "tasetful" snow and is my favorite kind... soft, fluffy and just enough to make everything look like lace for a short time before it melts away. Skies were a bit gray and these aren't the best pictures, but...
What a lovely filigree of frosted branch and sky. Happy first snow! I'm glad it was the "tasteful" kind. (We're expecting accumulations of 5-8 inches tomorrow! snow angels? nah...hot cocoa and the soft purr of a feline friend)
What a MARVELOUS winter wonderland but it sure looks COLD to this Southern California barefoot beach gal. I'm delighted to report that I woke up to drizzles this today and it's still raining steadily ... just what we need ;-) Hugs and blessings,
HI Raven, 'Look lacy' - perfect description! I'm a little jealous because you got more than we did. We had flurries again this morning for about 20 minutes. I like your lacy shots!
I'm 70 years old going on twelve or sometimes 6, it depends on the day. Then again, sometimes I feel like I'm 110. I'm agoraphobic, permanently disabled. I live an odd life, but a relatively happy one. I have two cats, Merlin and Melissa. They are brother and sister and therefore known (it's a joke) as The Twins. They were 3 years old on May 7th.

It looks lovely and if we have to have snow that's the sort I like too - the stuff that doesn't last long. ;)
I agree just enough to make everything pretty like your pictures.
Beautiful, Raven. We haven't had our 1st snow yet, and I'm not looking forward to it, unless it's quick, pretty, and melts really fast.
Beautiful!! It was very pretty here, too! I took some photos, as well. By about February we won't be so enthralled, will we?!
Hope you and the girls are well!
What are you talking about...these pictures are amazing! Bravo!!
I wish we had snow where I live.

these photos are magnificent, they have wonderful contrast and texture
I love the term 'tasteful snow' - I'm going to use it from now on :)
No snow here yet, just rain and more rain. Your pictures are lovely though, brrrr!
