Winter

Well, my roof snow awnings in front of the house fell down a half hour ago, but I managed to get some melting icicle pictures first. Luckily we haven't had too much snow so far. Unluckily, it's 20 degrees out... but there's SUN (yippee!). I have company due in a while so I'd better get this posted and finish reading this week's wordzzles. Happy Day everyone!

Wow on the pictures. I hope you have some one to do the repair or removal.

Those water drop photos are perfection. I am so glad you weren't outside taking them when the awnings fell! I hope a repair will be provided!

AMAZING water droplet photos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been freezing, too! Wishing we didn't have such high ceilings now!

Hope you had fun with your company!

Sorry if I misled people. The "awnings" are the way the snow slides off my roof. They are just snow melting, nothing that needs repair. I have a very kind neighbor across the street who comes with a snow blower when it snows and clears a good drive-way sized square of my yard.

Thanks to z.g. for the warm greetings. Can use all the warmth I can get. VERY cold here. Seasons's best to all.

Gooooooorgeous!!! It's sunny and cold here - no sign of any snow.

That bottom shot is a miracle--perfect for this season of wonder. I know. I sound like a Hallmark ad. Or worse, a Walmart toy commercial.

Raven: Incredible photography, and it also sounds as if you have a super nice neighbor. My Mom has a great neighbor who sends their son over to her house whenever snow covers her driveway. So nice to know there are kind people around! lol! :)

RAVEN - these are excellent shots!
Loved the melted 'awnings'. I can't imagine how cold it must have been for that snow to hang there like that.
The third droplet shot is amazing!
You should hang that on your wall -seriously!

OH, I forgot - uncanny how that icicle end looks like a cat's paw - don't you think....
And, congrats on Quilly's Punny Contest - I never see it early enough to actually win. :)
