Sky Watch Friday is hosted by Tom at Welcome to Wigger's World and I hope you'll make it a point to visit his wonderful site as well. He takes awesome photos.
Everybody (me included) always tries to take pictures of the moon. I thought it might be interesting to try getting a shot of the sun, which was incredibly bright yesterday. Here's one of the shots.
Even though the wing got cut off, I thought this was kind of cool.

Such fantastic colors here! Thanks for the drop:)
Lots of images Raven. :)
I love the sun shot and the hint of color in there. And I love the changing leaf color in the second one.
I liked seeing the long shot across your neighbors(I'm guessing) gives me a good perspective of your view.
A nice array of the sky,sun and moon! :)
Careful with pointing directly at the sun with ur lens. It might harm the sensor. Hope you had a UV lens attached :)
Happy Weekend!!
For some reason, the song "Blue Skies..nothing but blue skies..." is running through my head as I enjoy your photos!
But what I really love are those gorgeous trees-I miss those here in Arizona!

These are great shots. I was going to say I really liked the ones with the clouds brushed across the sky but there were some others in here that pulled a "wow" out of me too. :-)

WOW! A wonderful series!
I like the frame of the building, or window? that you used in some of your photos to frame the sky. Nice variety.

I like all of these Raven.
Especially the ones where the building frames the outside.
Super clouds too. Many are like our area.
Playing Sky Watch really makes us pay attention to the sky, doesn't it. And it's amazing how many shots you took in your very own back yard!
Wow that is a pretty shots my friend. Nice catch. TC
Hi Raaven,
What a fabulous series of shots you have treated us to here. The one of the sun hurts my eyes to look at even here :0)
Love the different angles you took some in.
Have a nice weekend...
Beautiful images of the sky in so many varieties.
Oh my … what a FEAST for the eyes! You never cease to amaze with the wondrous photos you capture and share … from first to last! There’s such VARIETY! I love the shifting colors in the 2nd photo (something we don’t see much of in So Ca near the beach where I live). Mine’s up at Sacred Ruminations …
Hugs and blessings,
Love the dove. Did you see mine a few posts back?
And how did you get that shot of the sun without frying your eye?
You sure made up for missing a month!!
I love the way you frame things, a real artisitic eye
the bird is wonderful, the sun is cool and the shot framed by your doorway looks like a post card.
I jumped in for the 2nd time ever LOL
I'm not so good with the sky, makes me dizzy ;)
Pretty Shots. Happy SWF
Two mornings ago, I stood on the front lawn and gazed up at the moon and thought "I should take a picture of this".
