I thought I'd take a break from political ranting and post some more fall foliage photos. It's extra hard to do the beauty of the trees and colors justice especially when all your pictures are taken through dirty windows, but hopefully these give a sense of the beauty for those who don't have their own colorful trees to look at. This year the colors have seemed exceptionally colorful and beautiful to me.

It is the beauty of the world that gives us courage and strength. I am glad that you were able to replenish with the views from Raven's nest.
Thank you for posting the russet flame of fall. I am up late writing a political parable for Friday's wordzzle and these images gave me some blissful respite.
Nice work!!! I agree that this year is particularly beautiful! I do believe you are a bit ahead of us with your leaves falling...your trees seem to be a bit barer than ours. Although with last night's and today's rain, we may be caught up with you!
Stay warm!
Ahhhhh! Gorgeous! We do NOT have any of the beautiful reds and oranges in my neighborhood... all we get is yellow and brown. I have to drive down the road to see all the colors. I thought when I moved to the "house in the woods" that I would just automatically GET color! *sigh*
the reds and golds are amazing!
we're still mostly green here.
Gorgeous photos!
Hi Raven,
I have some favorites - the fifth of the sky and clouds through the trees is beautiful. The twelth one is red and spidery looking - almost has an Asian feel to me.
I'm looking out my window now at the view in the distance and it's changed almost overnight.
Thanks! I needed that! I've been dying for some color here in TN. None yet, but we'll be there in the next couple of weeks.
Beautiful photos! Thanks for sharing!
Actually … I’ve read and thought about your political posts … appreciated the humorous links as well … but I’m trying not to engage in political commentary myself on my blogs or in comments … for my own reasons. Once again, I appreciate you sharing the ‘fall colors’ … and am feeling just a wee bit jealous that I don’t get to see such things where I live ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
I remember going to upstate New York during fall one year. It was amazing. That last shot is my fav.
I been enjoy the changing of the fall season and watching the leaves fall so graceful to the ground.
Part of my job is to take my client dog "Rex" for a walk and we went to ball park and I just listen to sound of fall and actual I heard some leaves hit the ground.
Coffee is on.
These are all so pretty; I am enjoying the fall colors out east vicariously through yours and Sandy's in Maine. We don't have many reds out here in the west. I love how tall and thick everything seems to be in your neighborhood.
I'm enjoying the intensity of the color this season.
Beautiful scenery!
