Ruby Tuesday: Fall Foliage in Red

Maryt/The Teach over at Work of the Poet hosts a meme called Ruby Tuesday which features all things red.

Well this being the most beautiful autumn I can ever remember, I am kind of overdoing it with pictures of fall foliage (scroll down for several other posts besides this one!). I'm afraid these aren't that good and some are probably kind of repetitive, but.... Believe it or not there are about a gazillion more pictures here at my Picasa page.

HAPPY RUBY TUESDAY!

Dear Raven,
Wow, what a joyful sight. A bath in autumn leaves. These are times to enjoy the moment. At least up north where I live. On sudden storm and the magic colors are gone with the wind.
How good of you to preserve the fire of fall for grayer days.

Hi Katherine, these are great! You sure do have a gazillion more of these fall pictures. And I am thinking that you took them all from your window or porch!

We don't have anything but green until the end of November or in December. Then some of the trees change colors and drop their leaves.
Happy Ruby Red Tu,

Very nice series. I am glad I am not the only one that thinks this is the best color we have had in many years.

Beautiful colour, Raven. Usually we have the best colour after a rainy summer. ;-) Happy Ruby Tuesday!

The foliage in the Southern Tier is quite beautiful. Happy Ruby Tuesday!

Wow. I love the colors. We don't get a very colorful fall here in southern California. Unless of course you talk about the sky from all the fires we're having so close by.

Your pictures are beautiful! I always have green pine trees around me...
Happy RT!

Raven, as far as I'm concerned you simply cannot overdo the red foliage. Here in New Mexico we have precious little red foliage. A little mind you, but none of those big glorious red-robed trees. AAAHH. It reminds me of my childhood trees.

Gorgeous Raven!
Six, eight, and nine are my favorites. Love the blue sky in those.
I've been like you. I was at my Mom's all day yesterday and took 82pics and just took more in my own yard. I'll probably post more this week just because.

Very nice, and so hard to choose. I think number 8 is my fave, though. Some of the photos are having a weird sort of problem in my firefox brower, like #14.

Thanks for visiting my blog!

Very beautiful leaves. I just love fall and you captured it so well.

I don't think you can overdo fall colors and I like that you split it up into tones. I like to look back on the fall photos when it's winter and the trees are bare..Thank you so much for visiting my ducky RT post..

I’m catching up on Ruby Tuesday today after being gone all day yesterday. . Once again … thanks for the LOVELY fall foliage photos and the link to your Picasa page. I’ll definitely check it out when time permits, but I’m off to get my hair cut and permed in just a little while this morning so I can’t do it now.

Thanks for dropping by mine at Small Reflections yesterday. I’ve left an award for my bloggy friends in my Whimsical Wednesday post this morning.
Hugs and blessings,

The fall colors are so beautiful. that is what I miss. I use to be able to just look out my window to see all the beauty. I have to search for it now.

You really have been on the hunt for red, I hope you had fun, the result is a parade of autumn red !

Dear Raven
I just came to thank you for your visit and also to look at your Ruby Tuesday.
You are right. This has been such an especially nice autumn. I have never seen such shades of red and gold. I think it is because we got a lot of rain when the leaves were still green and then we had a nice dry spell.
My favourite of your pictures is the third one from the last with its beautiful reds and golds and the green that is the color of summer still lingering!

I have to look over your blog because I really want to see some pictures of that naughty Angel and harmonious Tara Grace!

See you and take care Raven. and God bless you...Love Terry
