I thought this was beautiful. This dog's history is quite something as well. He was rescued from a dog fighting ring where he was used as "bait."

- I'm 70 years old going on twelve or sometimes 6, it depends on the day. Then again, sometimes I feel like I'm 110. I'm agoraphobic, permanently disabled. I live an odd life, but a relatively happy one. I have two cats, Merlin and Melissa. They are brother and sister and therefore known (it's a joke) as The Twins. They were 3 years old on May 7th.

This is a wonderful and touching video. I'd say the both of them have found their very best friend.
The Spokesman Review comes from Spokane, Washington. That means these fellas are from my home territory. I was born and raised just 30 miles away.
