I was a vegetarian for a while but my situation at present doesn't really lend itself to that life style. Still, this gives me pause to see if I can find a way to do that again. I have trouble with unnecessary cruelty like this. To be honest, I couldn't really watch it. But I saw enough.

Not for the Faint of Heart or Squeamish
Warning: This is very ugly video. It is difficult to watch or think about. View it at your own risk.

Obscenity epitomised. Callous cruelty. How can anybody actually work in that torture chamber?
Unbelievable, but unfortunately true.
This is why we only buy our eggs from a woman Darryl works with...her chickens all have names, are well cared for and well loved. Their feed is all organic and they are free range raised. Because he personally knows/trusts her, we exclusively buy from her.
Forty one seconds later I'm asking the same thing as Phillip - who could work there.
I don't dare watch it for fear of crying bucketsfull. I can't abide animal torture.
