quilly - thanks... I was so excited when I got that photo. Pure luck that you can even see the little guy.
aparelho de dvd - you are my first spammer. Very polite, but it's really very rude and accomplishes the opposite of your goal ultimately.
moo - thanks. I am so very lucky to be stuck inside here with all this beauty... and now that I have my little camera I can zoom in and see a much larger chunk of my little universe.
amy - thank you
yummy - he does kind of look beaver-like. Woodchucks are also called ground hogs... I was so happy that this little guy spent about 30 or 40 minutes posing for me yesterday. I think he may be partially responsible for the artistic decay on the stump behind him.
maya - I have kind of know that little guy was around but this is the first time I've ever actually caught him visiting.
thank you, missy
shelly - that moon shot was fun... I was surprised it came out as well as it did. Sorry if the woodchucks were traumatic for you.
marilyn - I think of that first one as "The Artist with his Work," although I can't prove he's actually responsible for the dramatic erosion of that stump over the two years since I moved here.
Thanks for sending me over to Project Green and, especially, for stopping by! I appreciate your comment about yesterday's post, too. I was a basket case most of the day, very unlike me! Hugs, Sher
vixen - I like the second woodchuck too - because of the way the light is, I think.
susan - thanks... glad you learned something. At the suggestion of one of my nieces I'm naming the little guy. Haven't decided yet, but I'm leaning towards Milo Cornwallis Woodchuck.
ann - he's a huge cat and wanders full time so I think he is pretty feral. He looks sad to me in that picture.
robert - Milo Cornwallis (see above) does look a lot like a beaver (or what I think a beaver looks like). It's such a cute little face.
Hi sher - you're welcome. Thanks for the return visit.
cg - thanks... he tried flirting with my girls for a while but was snubbed rather coldly for his efforts.
hi kim - I hope people went to see your beautiful blue WW flowers too. I've missed you. Nice to see you back.
hi melli - glad you enjoyed the little guy. He might get huffy at everyone thinking he's a beaver, though. He is a woodchuck (aka groundhoug).
napaboaniya - thanks. I wish I was clever enough to capture phases of the moon. It's actually reflections.
carletta - thanks. I'm pretty sure he has some responsiblity for that stump. I can't prove it, though. He ignored it while I was photographing him. "Who me? Oh, I just chew grass."
luke wiley - thanks. I'm so thrilled that I can get pictures of birds.
sue - I do think he did that, but I can't prove it.
zamejias - thanks. I just love having a zoom lens. It's so much fun. (It's a new camera replacing a very old, pixel and zoom challenged one.)
I'm 70 years old going on twelve or sometimes 6, it depends on the day. Then again, sometimes I feel like I'm 110. I'm agoraphobic, permanently disabled. I live an odd life, but a relatively happy one. I have two cats, Merlin and Melissa. They are brother and sister and therefore known (it's a joke) as The Twins. They were 3 years old on May 7th.

And the winner is, Photo Number Two! Simply outstanding. Great shot.
Although you are stuck inside all day, you have some amazing wildlife to enjoy!
Just stunning shots.
Great nature shots!!
I don't think I've ever seen a woodchuck before. He looks rather like a beaver.
Great pics, loved them!

Great photos! And I learned something about woodchucks from you--thanks!
Oooh stray cat caught my attention :) Such a beautiful kitty.
The first and last one remind me of Beaver from The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe! Great shots.

Great pics, Raven. That's a lovely cat!
I'm so glad I opted to stay in this evening and look at your Wordless Wednesday! Great photos! You're awesome!
Miss you! Hope things settle down soon so we can have a nice long chat!
Awwwwwww... I'm LOVIN' that beaver! Guess cuz I don't see them too often! And they're cute! Very nice!
The beaver is adorable. The capture of the moon in different phrases is great as well :)
Hi Raven,
I love all the shots, but that first one is priceless!
Thanks for visiting me and leaving such wonderful comments!
great group of shots! I like the birds especially!
thanks for coming to My Photoblog
I like the woodchuck. Cool. Especially the first one. Do you think he did that to the stump?
Like the second shot and the moon. Thanks for the visit. Happy WW.
