Peeking out of the Black Hole

Hi Everyone (if anyone is still out there listening),

I apologize for just disappearing and not visiting anyone. Not sure what has been going on exactly, though I think it is probably a depression triggered by eating too much pasta and breads. I tried some variety in my rather routine diet. Getting all your food processed has serious limitations as far as variety goes. Or maybe it's just too much winter and too little Spring. Or maybe it's.... Who knows. For whatever reason, I fell into a deep ditch and have been wallowing in cranky self-indulgent pity. Pity-ish, maybe.

Thanks for kind words on my last whining post. I am still counting my blessing every day and I'm really ok, just needed to withdraw for a bit, I guess. Anyway, I'm still not quite ready to come out of my cave, except for a quick peek and an "I'm not dead" notice. I will post a wordzzle tomorrow (hopefully). Still haven't thought about writing it.

Did have a way cool dream the other night. I was moving into a big space with this handsome young man. Most of it's pretty vague, but my new roommate had a "pet" hawk and three crystal balls at least one of which was purple. Angel and the hawk seemed to be striking up a friendship. It was all very odd.

So anyway, I'm not dead. I will visit everyone again soon. But I must go back to the cave now. I love you all. I just need to hibernate now that Spring (despite 3 new inches of snow) is coming. (I know, that's backwards, but...)

See you soon, I hope.

Sorry you've been battling depression. I hope you find your way out of it very soon.

I've been battling hives! 8 days now. Started last Thursday night and has plagued my entire vacation with at least 2 outbreaks a day.

Darryl's jumping in the Polar Bear Jump on Saturday. (People collect sponsors that are donated to Hospice, and jump into a hole cut into the ice of Goodyear Lake and swim about 20 feet before getting out of the hole in the ice...crazy way to raise money for a good cause, huh?)

Anyway, just wanted to drop by to say I'm sending positive healing energy your way! Feel yourself again soon!

I think a bit of hibernation can be refreshing - as long as the wallowing part doesn't last too long

I lean toward wallow - that's why I'm saying that

love ya
kiss the girls for me and play a few games with them

I know what you mean about hibernation especially when it is so cold outside and grey.

Take good care of yourself and the cats. Sending good vibes your way.

See you when you are better.

No worries. Spring is just around the corner and I'm sure you'll slowly emerge from your funk.

Your young man had 3 crystal balls, hmmm. That must have made intimacy interesting.

;)

Glad to know you're still alive and well!

Hey you -
Hope you're coming back to us soon. I for one have missed you.
I think this time of year we all get down a little. We just process it differently.
Take care my friend. We'll be here waiting in the wings for you.

Couple of good camera shots. I posted birds in a tree today too. :)

I think all of us have had enough winter. Spring is coming!

Dear Raven,
So very understandable that you're getting some downers now and then.
Just living inside the same flat all the time would be more than most of us could carry.
I am admiring your engagement in real life, political issues and debates.
Your burning, lady.
That's more than most people do.
I'll send all my prayers and warm thoughts to you.

I liked the very optimistic dream.
Times are changing.
From Felisol

I believe your hibernation has prompted quite a wondrous dream. It sounds portentous of clarity (crystal balls), spirit guides (hawk), and befriending your inner male (roommate). Lately, my own dreams have been in bits and pieces. I could use a crystal ball.

Good to know the cloud has a silver lining, or is that polished pewter? Ah, either way, good to hear your feeling a bit better.

Glad you are feeling better, I have been away from my blog but back now and the camera is helping me. Love the shadows that tree is making and the clean un-broken snow.
