A Musical Break from Memes and Blogging
Taking a day off from memes. No ideas for haikus for stairway and my brain just doesn't even want to try thinking of something. I thought about Camera Critters. Mr. Woodchuck popped by the porch the other night.... But I'm just memed out, so I thought I'd offer up a collection of nice John Denver tunes. John Denver always makes me feel good. From top to bottom the songs are: A Song for All Lovers, Perhaps Love (with Placido Domingo), Eagles and Horses, and Poems, Prayers and Promises.

I'm late getting around - very late - I was kinda like you - just needed some time today.
But, John Denver is a great favorite of mine and I hadn't heard Poems, and Prayers, and Promises in ages- thank you!

This was quite a treat. Growing up, my sister was a big John Denver fan. We didn't listen to much music as a family so what my sister listened to was kind of what the rest of us listened to. I don't think I really realized how much his music was part of my growing up until the day he died. There I was, a grown man, suddenly taken back to my childhood, and I felt so sad for his loss. Thank you so much for sharing these. You made me smile. :)
