This week's prompt for One Single Impression was "through the window." I did most of these late last night, probably not a good idea as there was a much better version of the first one which simply vanished into cyber ethers never to be seen again. I'm not as happy with my recreation as I was with the original, but that's life, I guess. Sometimes you just have to go with what you've got... something like that. I try to make the text as readable as possible, but if you have difficulty they can all be expanded by clicking on them.

wonderful snippets of poetry, and i loved the rainy wet window most of all!
My favorites are the one of the birds on the water and grass and of course, the cats. Love the cat pictures.
I love the moon one best but kitties are always making me smile.
All these pictures are wonderful, but I love the cats the best. You can just tell how much they want to be outside. Nicely done.

We have purposely put large windows in our house for I love to look out. Windows hold so much to see and absorb and no matter what the weather we can vicariously experience the influence it has on our surroundings. Cats looking out is a well loved feature of windows. All your window views and text were much enjoyed.

Wow. What beautiful views you have. I love the water with the birds, but then the sky is so clear with that one of the blackbird. My fav if I had to pick just one would be that gorgeous daylily!

#2 with the rain really grabbed me. I've never been a fan of the rain. But then again, I've never really photographed it much either. Next rain, I'll be seeing it differently. Thanks for sharing these images.

That's a great idea for a theme! I love the stormy 'dramatic view' one, and the multiple moon reflections. And the kitties look so sweet looking out. I bet they see those birds splashing in the rain!
