Maryt/The Teach over at Work of the Poet has something called Ruby Tuesday which features red. Since my little kingdom isn't very rich in red, I'm going to use some more of the photos from the pick-up truck that took away branches from the tree tragedy. I actually had fun photographing it.
Early Sunday evening, my computer went down and has been unavailable to me until about two hours before I'm posting this. It's the first time since I started blogging again (on February 6th) that I've missed a day of posting. Everyone was spared this week's alphabet backwards which I guess goes to prove that every cloud has a silver lining. I am very behind on visiting others and too tired to catch up tonight. Tomorrow is another day.

Tail lights of the pickup truck right? Cool one for Ruby Tuesday :)
You have a nice collection here.
I have mine up for the first time.
Ok I see it now, I had to go back and reread to find what the red button was. Neat!

Nice idea for Ruby Tuesday!
Peace
Creative idea for Ruby Tuesday! Enjoy your day!
I was wondering where you were yesterday but figured you were having some of the same storms we were.
I love how beautiful you made the truck parts. Great angles. You have a poet's eye.
Creative entry for today's Ruby Tuesday. Glad your back in the land of blogging!
There really is a lot of red around us. Have a beautiful Ruby Tuesday Raven!
Good ones Raven! I love the last two. Knowing what you were capturing from following your blog makes the last one of the light peeking through the pine extra special. I smiled at that one knowing that truck was loaded!
You had mentioned you weren't feeling well in your last post and when I came back you hadn't posted. I'm sorry about your computer but was glad to know you weren't sick.
Now this is a different post for Ruby Tuesday.
Good choice.
Somewhere I saw a link to a survey. Something like "How addicted to blogging are you?" When we worry about one missed day of blogging, I think we're pretty addicted! I get the same way lately! I'm glad it's up and running again. :)
Some cool red shots here! :)

These reflective lamps really stand out in the forested Hancock environs. It's nice that the town left that truck there for a quicker pickup.
And I am partial to cardinals, and am happy to see a female cardinal with the tiny speck of red on top. Nice area!
Are the birds still enjoying what is left of the tree?
Hey, it's red - that's what counts! :D

Hi everybody - thanks for your visits and kind words...
askewtoyou - the birds ARE still enjoying the tree parts which my neighbor seems to have stopped removing. I got to meet my newer neighbors next door - the ones who are candidates for having the other half of the tree fall on them - and they told me that it is cracking and will have to come down, which is breaking my heart. On the up side, it was nice to meet them and they said that they think the town will take it down for me as one of the three directions in which it could fall is Route 17. Meanwhile, it's a bird's paradise in my back yard.
Very neat pictures for your prompt.
Great parts of truck! Perfect reds.
