This bunny and her babies have been pretty regular visitors and she has come right up by the house several times. Yippee!
There are two babies. They were so far away most of the time that this was about the only clear shot I got of them. Mother seemed to chase them around more than nurture them. Maybe she was channeling my mother...
This little chipmunk went scampering past and I said out loud to myself... "oh, don't go away." I noticed too late that he had hopped up on the porch and by the time I refocused and found him with the camera, he was off again... Darn. Cute butt, though.
HAPPY WORDLESS WEDNESDAY!!

What a awesome array of photography Raven! I hope you do join the Creative Photography contest, the list closes tomorrow afternoon.
Hi Roger - Thanks. Oh, my... I was thinking today (well yesterday) was Wednesday and that I was too late for this week. I'll see if I can get myself organized. Thanks for your kind words.
"... must have been channeling my Mother" - I can't stop giggling over that.
really cute bunny
and the color of the chipmunk is so pretty
The first bunny is CUTE, the baby is CUTER, and the end, the CUTEST!
You have some great ones here!
How wonderful that you had so many willing and able models to pose for you. I trust they were rewarded well. Great shots here. I loved the whole series. :)
These photos are wonderful. They remind me of Beatrix Potter paintings. By the way, if you haven't seen the movie "Miss Potter", I recommend it.
The bunny pix are my favorite! Happy WW.
Ooo..I love the bunny pics too!! Happy WW
Cute bunnies! My kids would love to have bunnies in the yard (heck, they'd love to have a yard - we live in a very urban neighborhood).
The flower shots are stunning.
Beautiful story, Exquiste photographs. Like takinga nature walk with out ever leaving my desk. Thank you!
Happy WW
That is a great series of photos, Raven. Re the chipmunk butt -- I wish I had a buck for every critter butt I've ever photographed! Dang little buggers always turn tail just as you press the shutter button!

What a great series of photos. I love the photos of the birds especially. How did you get so close to the bunny for the photo taking? That is amazing.
Lovely photos. The bunny pics are incredibly cute! Great captures and perfect choices for WW! Have a great day! :)
I like your collection of photos in this post.
Isn't it amazing the treasures that can be found within your own backyard! Mine becomes a treasure trove when I really look. Nice wildlife collection!
Awesome...love the chipmunk butt!
All good, but of course my favorite is the last...who can resist a chipmunk, especially a chipmunk's going away view :-)
Guess what? Chipmunk butt! *giggling stupidly* I'm so mature.
The bunny pics are sweet... My ex-boyfriend had a "rabbit problem" at his house. I told him his problem was in terminology. If you view them as bunnies then there's no problem at all. He saw them as RABBITS, and he said it just like that. But he was upset because they were peeling or eating the bark off of some shrubs in the back corner of his yard.
*vindicated* On the other hand, I was tossing any produce that went bad before we could eat it into the backyard for the bunnies. The baby bunnies made it so worth it.

I like the bee photo the best, but it so nice you can share such great nature photos with us. Happy WW.
Great shots Raven. I have just been gone to much to do wordless wed today or ABC so had to skip for this week, but glad I got to see yours. Thanks for sharing
Nice critter pictures. I hope the bunny family become your friends!
They're all great shots, but I especially love the bunnies (of course!). Around here, we've dubbed them yard bunnies.
The chipmunk butt is just funny, though. Great "ending" to your post. Ha! Ha! :D
SO CUTE! Love the tiny one hiding in the grass.
How wonderful that all these critters came to visit this week! I love the face on the little bunny. The flowers and the bee, all these shots are full of life Raven!

Hi Roger -- Happy WW! Your backyard is a pretty place, we can see. Thank you for showing us a little of what goes on there.
My WW picture is out in a wildeness cow pasture in Colorado. You can guess what I found, please don't step in it.
