Camera Critters: Angel Joy

Camera Critters

This is my first time joining in with Misty Dawn's Camera Critters. Sundays are usually reserved for One Single Impression - and I will probably post that in the morning - but Angel (aka the world's naughtiest kitty) has been exceptionally photogenic this week. She is always photogenic but she has outdone herself (at least to my doting eyes), so I thought I'd post some pictures of her.

This first one is a bit older than the rest. Most days since I got my new camera, I sit at the back door and watch for birds and critters to photograph. Angel thinks this is bizarre behavior and doesn't approve of anything which she doesn't get to participate in. Early on, she would walk around crying, jump up onto my back or into my arms (she still does that) or find her way onto the top of the refrigerator from where she would make her dismay at my behavior clear.

Over the course of a couple of months she has mellowed considerably about the process. Not completely - she still jumps into my lap and fusses on and off - but now she will often lie on the table next to me and only act up intermittently. As long as she gets a little attention from time to time, she seems to have made peace with my new strange activity. Some days I turn the camera on her. Some days she lets me do that.

Have a lovely day!
Check in at Camera Critters and see all the other wonderful critters who are out there.

amazing close-ups!! the top of the fridge shot is my favorite, she reminds me so of Siren when he's "sharing his displeasure"

Angel is very photogenic! I love those beautiful eyes.
Even though soft, I especially like the crouched view.
Nice series.

Love the first shot of her complaining. My cats are the same way. As soon as I am doing something, there they are, making sure I can't do it any more because they are laying on it, stealing it, or laying on my arms. As soon as I pay attention to them, they lose interest and leave.
Your kitty has a beautiful pattern to her coat.

Even if she is evil in person, Angel lives up to her name in this delicious photographs. Purrrrrrrr.

What pretty eyes and what an angelic face. No wonder she is named Angel! You would have to forgive her every naughty moment with a glance from those big eyes! Nice portrait shots!

How fun to see you joining Camera Critter this week and ‘managing’ the routines we fall into for posting OSI and other things. This is a marvelous series of ‘cat photos’ … and I wish I could get Ms. Kitty to cooperate the way Angel does (even though you say she’s ‘naughty’ and behaved badly at first). Thanks for sharing today … and for dropping by my 11th Camera Critters post (published Saturday). I’ve got a 12th posted today so I’m all caught up (after missing the 1st week of the activity way back when). I introduce Lucy, the Golden Doodle today along with my usual ‘unconscious mutterings’.
Hugs and blessings,

There is a cat in my neighborhood, that doesn't seem to have a fixed address, but is fed my several people, that looks almost identical to your Angel -- except dirtier and minus part of one ear. One of its major stops is my neighbors porch, where it eats the dry dog food she puts out for her golden retrievers.

must be the color. i have one just like her at home, same colors, female, and I THOUGHT i had the world's naughtiest cat! i originally named her dharma...fast forward, she's turned my household upside down with the other two felines and is so precocious and gets into EVERYTHING, that we've renamed her "trouble." Trouble suits her because that is exactly what she is to a T....and i love her...shoot me now. now i know where to send her when i go on vacation....to you so she could spend some time with her twin! LOL!

Angel is gorgeous.......
