Daily Reminder # 351

It was a strange day today, a mix of good and bad. Good news from the friend for whom I post these daily reminders, which is wonderful. AWESOME day at the back door. Other than that, I've been kind of hovering at the edges of crazy world again. The process of Delaware Opportunities next visit to my house is moving along and my home will undoubtedly be invade sometime in the next week or so.Crazy world this time involves a range of things from what will I wear, are they mad at me because I didn't get some papers in the mail until this morning after the mail went out as opposed to before, to they are going to put in a back door that doesn't have enough glass and if I complain they will be mad at me, to a wide assortment of known and unknown reasons why I am bad and will get in trouble and have people be mad at me. The other aspect of crazy world and it's outskirts is I become even more panicky than usual about money and/or the lack thereof. Was probably an especially good day to get today's Neale Donald Walsh/God message.

On this day of your life, dear friend,
I believe God wants you to know...
...that the best things in life are free.

That is just about the oldest, most trite, most
hackneyed "saying" you could come across today.
But it is so, so true. And it is important never to lose
sight of that. So look around you. Wherever you see
friendship, loyalty, laugher, love...there is your treasure.

Now, today, to whom will you choose to give
such treasures in even greater quantity? Someone
will ask you for this today. And when they do,
please,  please be ready with it, yes?

Then will you know the heaven you are in.
For you will be a special angel...

Love, Your Friend....

Both Mr. & Mrs. Cardinal (as I like to think of them) were
by the feeder when I first got to the door. My arrival
scared them away and they never returned. Did get one pic.
Not always easy being me. Sigh. The up side of the day was a hummingbird who just hung out and posed almost non stop. It felt like a two-fold message from the Universe. First, I was feeling very down and there was this massive influx of hummingbird energy. I think I've mentioned before that in Native American lore, hummingbirds are symbolic of joy. How cool is that. They were also confirmation of the truth of above message from Neale and God.  Warning. There are LOTS of pictures. LOTS.

The glass on my door is so dirty. From some angles,
especially in rainy day light, it really blurs things.

Tufted titmouse.

They apparently get a bunch of seeds in their claws
and then nibble them from there.

The chickadee toys with me. Flits to the feeder and off
again before I can get a shot. This was the best I got
today out of a dozen or more visits.
The woodchuck spent some time on his stump and
munching grass here and there...

And then there was the hummingbird(s), posing so nicely....

Some things I'm grateful for today: (Items in red are pre-gratitude, an effort to inspire excessive generosity from the Universe, with particular emphasis on a whole lot of cash, though I am open to any form of generosity the Universe wants to offer.)

I thought the pink petal carpet a couple
of houses down from me was kind of
wonderful because it was so thick and
large and pink against the green.

I would tell you not to worry, but since I would probably be stressed in your situation too, that wouldn't be very honest of me. I will say that in my experience the scenerios I build up in my mind generally have no basis in reality & don't come to pass. I think it's because I worry them away! So don't listen to me, I'm not at all helpful in that area.

I think listening to the universe's gift of the hummingbird would be a better thing altogether.
