Just gratitude again today, I think. I'm glad my home has been weatherized because I don't seem to have the same resistance to cold I have in other years. My tolerance for 50 degrees seems to not be what it was, but maybe that's just because it has kind of leaped from the 60s to the 30s instead of easing it's way from one season to another. Time will tell, I guess. Haven't been sleeping well at all the past few days. Too much candy, I think. I took a nap this afternoon and had a very weird dream. My memory of it is sort of disjointed but I was in a house that wasn't this one but also was. At one point I was waiting for my clothes dryer (I think) to be delivered and this big semi truck tears up to the road and instead of pulling up to the front door drives around the side of the house (not actually possible - it would fall onto the deck of the house below me on the hill). They nick the house on the way but don't seem to do any harm and then there are a couple of men at the door - which is a sliding glass door and seems to be not the kitchen. I'm not sure if stuff happened in between, but the ceiling starts leaking around the ceiling fan, but then kind of all over. I start trying to figure out how to get a plumber but I can't find any plumbers in the yellow pages. Then I seem to be back in Stuyvesant Town and I open the door and neighbors are out there and I ask them about a plumber. Angel runs out the door and into the neighbor's apartment. Other stuff happened but I don't remember. I go back to look up the phone number for the plumber but I can't find it and then somebody tells me I need to use a different yellow pages.... I think I woke up then. Weird dream. According to the dream dictionary leaks are a sign that I'm about to have some kind of emotional break through. Hmmm.
Some things I'm grateful for today: (Items in red are pre-gratitude, an effort to win over the hearts of the Creative Forces of the Universe so that they will wish to lavish clothes dryers (minus leaks), truckloads of money and other good things on me and do so in the very very near future.)
