One Single Impression: Pets

This week's prompt for One Single Impression was "pets" Any excuse to share pictures of Angel and Tara Grace works for me. The haikus may be so-so, but aren't they just the most beautiful kitties ever?

Not sure why the top haiku for Angel isn't readable. You can click on the picture for a larger, easily readable version, but if you don't want to do that, it reads:

Paradoxical
Angel Joy is all sweetness
And a dozen imps

We do seem to be a catty crowd. I'll bet the dogs will surface soon.

These are beautiful and tender poems. You make me think of the people whose cold hearts abuse such beings at the same time you lead me into all that is wonderful about them.

Raven, beautiful haiku and photos of kitties. I'm missing my kitties. We are not allowed to have pets where we live. I will be visiting my dauhter's kitties this week. Time for kitty love.

Bloggers seem to be mostly cat folks. Who knows why. Love the haikus.

While I am now known to my sisters as the 'crazy cat lady', I only had dogs for many years as Mr. X is severely allergic to cats. I will surely have another dog again, but I dearly love my cats!

These were all lovely, Raven! The photos and haiku are beautifully paired! Tara Grace is a gorgeous gray, and you know how partial I am to gorgeous grays!

What great pictures and tributes to the cats. Your cats are gorgeous. I can just hear the rumblings. I miss this sometimes. Cats can be very comforting especially when they are purring.

So many cats are like this, aren't they? I love that last line especially. :-)

The first ones dripped with love. So sad that not all cats have loving owners like you.

I posted one of Bonnie the dog! *grin* I thought there would be all dogs for some reason. At any rate, Raven: You did a beautiful job, as always. Some of these made me cry. Most of them made me happy that you have such a wide, open heart.

Raven,

Wonderful pictures and poems! Ditto to all the above.

My kids are extremely allergic to cats. I feel bad, because they are missing out on so much.

Beautiful as always!

In your words, I can feel your affection for all of these gorgeous creatures. I love the photos. They seem to perfectly fit the cats' personalities. (Or is that "purr-fectly"?)

These photos and haikus are all so marvelous I don’t know I can choose favorites … though that last picture is so amazing … and I did once have a calico cat. Lovely … each and every one :--)
