Daily Reminder # 595

Well, I didn't take any pictures again, so I'm going to have to mess around with some existing ones and pretend I'm being creative.  Neale Donald Walsh's message from God is pretty intense today...  I've gotten better at letting go of the belief that people need to be rescued by me. I suck so badly at my own life, yet there's a part of me that thinks I can do everyone else's so much better than they are doing it. I do know better, but there IS a part of me that would love to micromanage other people. What's the old saying... "those who can DO, those who can't teach."  Anyway, here's Neale's advice for today.

On this day of your life, dear friend,
I believe God wants you to know...
...that nobody needs your help.

I know, I know...this is a difficult one.
But it is true. Yetthis does not mean no one
wants your help, or that noone could use your
help. It simply means the thought that another
Aspect of Divinity is powerless without you is inaccurate.

Do not do something, therefore, because you
think someone else needs you. That only builds
resentment. Do whatever you do as a means of deciding,
declaring, creating, and experiencing who you are--and
who you choose to be. Then you will never feel victimized,
powerless, or without choice. Yes? You see how
simple it all is? Get out of victimhood.

Love, Your Friend....
neale

Some things I'm grateful for today: (Items in red are pre-gratitude, an effort to train myself to believe in abundance and miracles and possibilities - and in my right and worthiness to desire and even HAVE things and maybe even happiness and self worth. It is also a prayer of sorts to the Universe to hear and respond.)

Don't forget Woody Allen's addition--"And those who can't teach, teach Phys. Ed."
