Daily Reminder # 578

Winter is stressed and struggling and could use prayers,
reiki and good thoughts aimed in his direction.

Thought I'd start tonight with a request for prayers and good thoughts to this rescued dog who is named Winter. He has just been adopted but he's apparently having a hard time in his new home, peeing on the floor and generally stressed. It is his second home since the woman who rescued him could not keep him. It's snowing out. May be our first real snow this winter (except for the one before Halloween), which suits me fine. I like snow when it first falls but when it hangs around, I get depressed. Got my utility bill today. Very pleased. $72.  My suffering and the weatherizing are paying off. I've actually been pretty weak-willed about keeping it at 50 so that makes that amount even better. I don't have any good photos tonight except for Winter.  The first video is a friend of mine singing one of her own songs. And at the close, a little Sweet Honey in the Rock.

Some things I'm grateful for today: (Items in red are pre-gratitude, an exercise in feeding optimism and attempting to "vibrate" to abundance in hopes of getting the Creative Forces of the Universe to vibrate back with cash and goods.)

Ellie's song is lovely. Great news about your bill! Hope your snow doesn't outstay its welcome. It's overcast and rainy here in the midlands of the UK, but not too cold, thankfully.
