AGGGGHHHHH!!!!

I got up early, gave the cats food, shut them into the bedroom, forgot something in the bedroom, chased Angel, who got out, put her back in (squirming and crying), got myself washed and dressed, went into the kitchen to take the last things out and do a little final cleaning, got settled at the computer....

And then the phone rang.... They got delayed on a job yesterday because of the rain. They aren't coming today. They will be here tomorrow. They are sorry. I am sorry.

I am tired. I am sad. I am anxious. I am frustrated. It's 10:30 and I need a nap. That's my story.

Ahhhhh! But it's READY for them the minute they arrive BRIGHT and EARLY tomorrow morning! :)

You know Raven... it wouldn't be a remodel if it didn't run into snafus and postponements! If they say it's going to take 3 weeks, expect *sigh* at least 5! Then if it gets done in 4 you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Well, you've had a practice run so tomorrow should go more smoothly. ;) (Just trying to cheer you up!)

This morning at Bible study we were studying how Solomon built the Temple of the Lord. It took 7 years and was built to EXACT specs. Then Solomon built his own palace and it took 13 years...the question in our study was, "why did the palace take so much longer?" The answer we came up with was -- different contractor (and he had to build it big enough for all those wives)! In all seriousness, this is just a small blip on a REALLY BIG radar screen and it will resolved and your socks will be knocked off with the blessing! So...breathe deep. Again. Again. Again. Stroke a kitty. Breathe Deep...continue this until feeling peaceful and then go to bed. Tomorrow IS another day.

Thanks all. I know it's just a tiny glitch and I trust that everything happens for a reason and in God's time. Thanks for your support, though. I'm just in a whiny state of mind right now and venting helps. Nate and Dan dropped by late in the afternoon which was a nice break. And somewhere between a week and three weeks from now, this will all be a memory and I'll have a gorgeous new kitchen. Yee ha!
