I had a post started for tonight, but I'm not feeling well, so I think for the moment I'll just post my gratitude list and go to bed early. If it feels right, I'll add my essay in the morning. If not, well, we can make the reminder the idea that flexibility is a virtue.... something like that...
Speaking of flexible.... decided to leave what I started for tomorrow or another day and instead will just post two short (sort of sad) poems for tonight.
LAMENTOh the solitude I seekAnd haveAnd do not wantAnd can't escapeAnd cannot find.- Katherine E. RabenauSeeker after blind dreamsAnd happy unrealitiesDreamer of dark scenesIn love with the shadowsMy mind casts against realityI cling for a few desperate momentsTo you.- Katherine E. Rabenau
Some things I'm grateful for today...
- bed...
- water
- watermelon
- being able to turn fans off
- my washing machine
- acai berry juice
- cheese
- bunnies
- wordzzles contributors
- Angel hugs
- Tara head butts
HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!

I'm sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. Hope by the time you read this you'll be feeling better.
I love this Lament. Ever since I read 100 Years of Solitude I think of the word solitude a lot. I'm really relating to your words.
As I was reading I was listening to your friend Ellie singing. She has a beautiful voice.
Hope you feel better today!
Yes, indeed, hope you're feeling a bit more chipper today. I Like the sad poems, short and poignant.
Lament is beautiful. It struck a deep chord.
Wishing you a restful night.
