Daily Reminder # 677

Interloper - but so pretty in the green grass.

Something a little different this evening. Another excellent Neale Donald Walsch (he's on a roll) and photos of my friend Rosalie's beautiful jewelry.  I'll put Neale here and then having been elightend by him and God, you can head down to the pretty necklaces.  Think I will do simple paragraph gratitude this evening and let the focus be on the beautiful creations that Rosalie has made with so much love and talent.

On this day of your life, dear friend,
I believe God wants you to know...
...that obstacles are not opposing you,
but merely and gently re-routing you.

It is important not to view that which stands
in your way as your 'enemy.' It can often be
your best friend, sending you on a detour that
takes you around what could have been
your biggest stumbling block.

Send a word of gratitude, then, for anything
that seems to be 'opposing' you now. All things
in life happen for good. Trust God about that.

Love, Your Friend....
Neale

I love how much variety there is in even this small sampling of Rosalie's work. I've added descriptions  for most and will hopefully add the 4 that I couldn't do soon. If anybody is interested in purchasing something, please let me know and I'll put you in touch with her. You can click on the images to see them larger.

My niece bought this one already, but it's one of my favorites so I thought
I would post it anyway. It's Ukanite and  Cinnebar, I think.

Amber

This is made with Quartz crystals and Sodalite.

Description to be added later.

Tiger's Eye, Black Onyx and small glass beads

Cobalt Czech Druk Glass Beads spaced with Silver Plated Beads

A double row of Arizona Jasper. Another of my favorites.

A Victorian Style Drop with Rainbow Flourite,
Swarovski Glass and Glass Seeds

Unakite, Jasper and glass beads.

Moukite Jasper.... close to choker length.

Cultured pearl, 4mm amethyst and deep purple Japanese seed.
Also more of a choker length

Hematite and Black Onyx. This is one of my favorites.

Some things I'm grateful for tonight.  Angel and Tara Grace (who are sleeping and being good kitties for a change), my home, my warm robe since it is absurdly chilly out.  An abundance of running water for drinking and bathing, Dr. Jim who listens with compassion, makes me laugh, makes me wiser (as best he can) and has changed my life for the better. I'm grateful for my friends, for my nieces and my nephew and spouses and children. I'm grateful beyond measure that they are happy and healthy and successful. I'm grateful for my camera and the cute creatures who sometimes pose outside my back door. I'm grateful for coffee and granola bars and macaroni and cheese, for indoor plumbing, for my wonderful mattress and snuggly blankets. I'm grateful for my computer and all that it offers and for TV and the Sci-Fi Channel and Comedy Central and Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. I'm grateful for Netflix. Did I mention indoor plumbing (it's on my mind for a reason). I'm grateful for the senses and for colors and music and smells and taste and all the magnificent things in life that we take for granted. I'm grateful for reiki and hope and resilience and my rock collection and my Tibetan salt lamps that glow with such warm beauty. I'm grateful that I can share Rosalie's necklaces with other people. I'm grateful for paper towels and the microwave and my chair/walker and cane and that my legs still get me around with the help of the former items. I'm grateful for the wonderful things the Universe is working on - that truckload of money and the birthday gathering with my friends and Nintendo and a ceiling fan to mention just a few. I'm grateful for much but I think I'll stop here and finish as always with love, laughter and life.

May You Life Be Rich in Beauty and Love
Today and Every Day

The jewelry is beautiful. If I still wore jewelry I would certainly purchase a couple of these.

Hi,
Good words from Neale!
Your friend Rosalie does beautiful beadwork! I've seen a lot so I know she's good. It's been almost four years since I did any beading. These photos have me itching to resume the hobby.
Hope this finds you doing well.
