My big accomplishment today was getting this week's wordzzles done. I really have to start making the words easier. My story did stagger forward a bit, though. Other than that it was a quiet day. The back door offered up a little variety, which was nice. No cardinals or blue birds or anything exotic, but something other than the same two sparrows. I'm very tired tonight. Probably partly because I'm not getting enough sleep and partly because I've been listening to all these healing sessions. I do recommend the Healing with the Masters replays and the Jo Dunning session. Had an intense conversation with my friend Rosalie yesterday. We were talking about my fantasies for my 65th birthday and how I know I'm setting myself up to be disappointed and I got kind of defensive about something she was saying, which - in hindsight - is usually a sign that someone is on the mark. Anyway, the days before I become legally old are rapidly dwindling. Ultimately, it's just another birthday, just another day, but I'm kind of wishing for some kind of good drama and wanting people to prove that they love me. Silly. Really silly. It's my version of my brother's bottomless pit. The good thing is that I know I'm doing it. The bad thing is I'm doing it anyway. What Rosalie tried to point out is that it's a way of purposely creating pain for myself. No, I protested. You don't understand. But I think she really did. And now I have something meaty to work on with Dr. Jim. Poor man. That's it for me, except for some more pictures and my gratitude.
Some things I'm grateful for today: (Items in red are pre-gratitude, an embrace of my inner rich girl and a invitation to the Creative Forces of the Universe to lavish me with love and cash and gifts of all sorts.)
