Wordless Wednesday: Totally Out of Control

Well... I just can't quite do it wordless. And my compulsion to post zillions of photos has gotten worse instead of better. I tried to resist, but I do need to put a word here and there. My question is... if the words are very small, do they still count as words?

I'm obsessed with day lilies. I can't stop taking pictures of them.

This tiny little squirrel was taken out my front window. It's double paned glass and not very clean (though my friend washed it for me). For some reason everything comes out fuzzy. I'm posting it anyway, because I think his cuteness outshines the blurriness.

Last comment.... It's amazing to me that this butterfly came out so clear. He was half way across my yard. Granted he is blurry... But you can see him! How cool is that?
Oops... one more comment... Another picture with the front window blur...

I just love cardinals. I don't know why but they are among my favorites. We don't get them here so I can't wait to get shots of them for myself. You did great here. Never apologize for not being wordless. I love the stories behind the pictures. And is there such a thing as posting too many pictures? I don't think so. Bring it on!

Whenever I do a Wordless without using words, I always get comments asking me to explain! I try to use pictures that speak for themselves, but I add a little caption to explain too, so I think that's okay!
Love your pictures of the day lily, and that last was is gorgeous!

Wonderful shots. I am a bit obsessed with taking pictures of my (ONE) lily, but I managed not to post it again. It was close though.

I love your bunny too.

That picture with the butterfly is a really good shot! You can just about feel the motion of it. I like that you load up your WW with lots of pictures. :) Will be posting the wordzzle on Saturday again. See you then!

With so much nature around you, I can see why you can't stop taking (and posting) pictures! I have just realized what's missing on my land... colourful flowers. There isn't much variety out there. Maybe I'll get a packet of wildflower seeds and sprinkle them around to get things going...

Happy ww! Thanks for your visit earlier.

Raven, go ahead and post all the pictures you want!! They are all beautiful. I love the pictures of all the critters. You must have a marvelous view from your windows--blurry or not. LOL. You could use the one of the cardinal for a future Ruby Tuesday. Keep posting. I love your pics.! Happy WW

I can see why you had a hard time choosing which photos to share! Lilies are wonderful subjects, aren't they? I did some before they blossomed and several after they opened up. They're so pretty...and the orange ones are my favorite shade of orange!

I have difficulty being ‘wordless’ too … but YOUR words enhance the enjoyment of these lovely photos you’ve shared today. I’ve just planted some day lilies in my yard and am looking forwards to when they bloom. Hope they’re as pretty as these.
Hugs and blessings,

I'm impressed by your collection of Day Lilies and bird photos. You sure are a quick shooter to snap a fast creature like the squirrel. When we visited Minneapolis a few years back, I tried so hard to taking shots on a squirrel, but he too fast for me.
Happy WW and thanks for dropping by. :)

LOVE your shots! They are just beautiful - the critters and the flowers are great. The lily withe drops is really stunning. I'm amazed that you get such wonderful pix even through your window. Very nice. :D

Hi, Raven. Love your shots. :-)

Maybe the blurriness of shots taken through windows is due tot he auto-focus of your camera? I found that on my canon digital, if I am in Portrait Mode, it will not focus through glass and I ahve to switch to manual focus (yuck -- that's why I bought an AUTO-focus LOL); if I am in Landscape Mode, it will focus through the glass, but then the depth of field changes and the background is too in focus for my tastes. i guess it is a matter of trade off of ease of shot versus getting what I want.

Also, I've been thinking about doing a second post called "Thursday Thoughts on my Wordless Wednesday" for those weeks when I think I must add comments.

Either way, comments or not here, LOVE the photos! Just the kind I love to shoot too. :-)

Ha! Second photo from the bottom - I feel like that little bird is trying to tell me something. Like, "mind your own stinkin' business."

Another awesome batch of photos. Love the lilies.
