Wordless Wednesday:
Tara Grace in Black and White

Tara Grace

five pounds - fragile but tough
talks like a gangster - moves like a dancer
she has suffered cruelty and abuse
without losing the gentle sweetness that is her essence
I am honored by her love and trust

I am very partial to black & white portraits and these are magnificent.

Tara Grace is the spitting image of my sweet old JR, he thought he was a person and sometimes a dog :)

hugs to Tara Grace and Angel too

Thanks so much for your visit and kind words. I have two cats myself and love their "grace."
I looked around while I was here and see some interesting challenges I would like to consider once I can take a little more time to check them out.
Have a wonderful day.

What a beautiful cat! Your pictures of her show her as an individual. I can get a sense of her personality through them. The use of light adds to their elegance. Thanks for posting them and thinks for visiting my blog.

Tara looks very calm :-)

Tara Grace could not be a more appropriate name-she exudes grace.

She is really such a beautiful soul and there is something ageless about b/w photos. I adore them.

Thank you everybody... Just two short personal notes.

Andrea... Tara has come a long way and would undoubtedly almost fall over with contentment letting you pet her, but she still draws the line at actual being held.

Snoopmurph - thanks... she does exude grace... and then she opens her mouth.. and grace is gone...

LOVED this post! Tara Grace is so beautiful. I loved your photos and your lovely words. Felines are the most incredible of animals, resilient and forgiving beyond belief. Our two cats are like children to us, we love them so much. Thank you for sharing this beautiful and touching post Raven.

thanks parker... I know she'll be especially flatter having that compliment come from a fellow furry.

hi geraldine... I agree about cats... they are remarkable. I have learned more about love from my cats than from pretty much anyone else ever. Angel and Tara Grace are my family for sure... as Katrina and Abigail were before them.
