Heads or Tails Tuesday: A Mini Rant & A Video Clip
My offering today for Skittles' Heads or Tails Tuesday is bitter and angry. The prompt is "tip" or anything that rhymes with tip. This is just the tip of the iceberg of my rage and hurt.
George W. Bush is an evil man who holds my country in his grip
I am angry that he will be allowed to slip through history's door unimpeached
Unpunished for crimes against the US and the world
For crimes against the Constitution and basic human decency
While Congresspersons snip at each other about trivia
Bush and Co. chip away at the Constitution
Chip away at decency
Chip away at human rights
Chip away at help for the poor
Chip away at all that's good
So much lip service to God and patriotism
As we become a people who allow
Other humans to be stripped naked,
tied to a board and fake drowned
While we become a people who make excuses for torture
For ignoring the law
And democracy is flipped the figurative bird
All our hands - not only his
Drip with blood
What does this say about us?
I also thought I'd share this thought-provoking video clip from The $3 Trillion Shipping Spree:

It amazes me too that Dubya stay for 8 years leading the free world.
"Maybe we aren't that free"
Mine up also.

Wow! Powerful post for you HoT today ... so many excellent points for all Americans to consider! Wonderful job.
My 2nd HoT is positively 'playful' at Small Reflections this morning, so I hope you'll stop by to see.
Hugs and blessings,
History will not record him kindly for sure! Happy HOT day and thanks so much for stopping by :)
Strong and emotional post for Tuesday.
Have a great week! :)
A very powerful post!
Well, you know what the USA has promised:
whenever an Amrican is brought to the International Court of Justice, they'll invade The Netherlands and worse...
The Netherlands contains an area where The International Court of Justice is seated.
The Netherlands doesn't organise it.
Welcome at my heads or tails:
Have a great day!
WOW -- a powerful and political post for the topic. Most interesting and well said.
Thanks for stopping by Penny Lane.
I don't I can add more to what has already been said.
Thanks for stopping by.
Thank for stopping by my blog. I enjoyed your "about me" section.
And now, Raven, I am just as angry at the Democrats for letting the Impostor slip through his two terms unpunished. They allowed him to control and it is inexcusable. Great post and well said!
Laane - I had not heard that, though I'm sure the current administration would take that attitude. Personally, I hope that once we have Democrats in office and rejoin the world court, that they will prosecute Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld, since Americans have not taken responsiblity for doing so ourselves.
andree - I agree. I so loved Dennis Kucninch, in part because he was so vocal and strong on the subject of impeachment. I also like everything else about him. I wish his voice had not been so thoroughly silenced by the media and the party.
This guy is a piece of work. How many more days?
Hmmm, one would gather from your post that you don't really like President Bush lol. He isn't all he says he is. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
The idea thwt "W" will skate free after violating th Constitution in so many ways makes me apoplectic sometimes. He is the most inept dishonest man to hold the office in modern times.
Amen to every single word Raven!
Great Post! I agree with you on so many things here! I am really scared as to what our future holds for us! IMO~We will have another Republican (not that that is what I want-just how I foresee the future)!
Thanks for visiting mine
Have a great day!
snoopmurph - if Congress were doing it's job he and Cheney would be being impeached and he wouldn't have any more days.
Mike - to say I don't like him is beyond understatement. He belongs in jail... maybe Guantanamo would be a good place for him...
billy - apoplectic is the perfect word. I think about him and all my peace/love spiritual beliefs fly run scampering out of the room and hide.
dianne - Yes!
mercedes - I hope beyond hope that you are wrong. McCain seems a bit nuts to me. Democrats do have a gift for shooting themselves in the foot and Republicans have a gift for rigging elections. Still, I can't imagine the country voting for McCain. But then I couldn't imagine them voting for Bush either.
Please pardon my late visit. I could tell from your post how negative you feel about GWB. It's been very interesting reading your view points.
