One Single Impression Part 2: Flowering

This week's One Single Impression Prompt was flowering. I have made my post in two parts. The first is a long poem. I wanted to try a few haiku as well, though. And I almost didn't aplogize...

After reading your first poem this morning, I was not ready to give your Haiku my full attention! Even so, I had to re-read it. I am still just so deeply touched by it...

I just love how you captured the explosion of spring after the barreness of winter!

BTW, I also have 2 incredible cats!

The great wonder of spring is moving from emptiness to thoroughgoing beauty. Thank you for capturing this. God bless..

Great capture of the essence of spring. I too loved the words 'clouds are moved to tears'. Nice job.

Another wonderful poem. I love "the soul stirs from dreamless sleep". So true, I feel that way. Just beautiful.

I’m visiting (even later than you I’m afraid) … but ‘happy’ to have time to savor OSI posts finally ;--)

I love the way you’ve superimposed your Haiku on the images themselves … and I need to remember this technique now that I’ve learned HOW to put text on graphics myself. All three are wonderful … my favorite is the first.

I’ll return to catch up on Mary’s Meme and other posts when time permits, but today I’m catching up on One Single Impression before I do anything else.

Hugs and blessings,
