Daily Reminder # 229

(Please scroll down for the Weekly Wordzzle challenge.)

Think I'll let Neale Donald Walsh do my work for me this evening. This one is challenging for me, but also reminds me of my favorite Thank You for Everything, I Have No Complaints Whatsoever Mantra, which has helped me many times over the past years. Politically partisan as I am, I have been recognizing more - well TRYING to recognize - that I do experience the words of those I disagree with through the filter of my own world view. I want to do make a serious, conscious effort, to both expand that and to be more aware of it.

On this day of your life, dear friend,
I believe God wants you to know...
....that the best argument you
can make is no argument at all.

Do not argue with life, or with anyone in life. Life
presents itself perfectly in every moment, and every
person believe his or her point of view to be valid
and 'right.'

Arguing with any of this is pointless, and a terrific
waste of energy. Simply create what you choose next.

You will not have to think but a second to know
exactly why you received this message today.

Love, Your Friend....

This is part of the "can we go to bed yet" ritual...
Bed time equals "CRUNCHIES!" - Tara's favorite
thing in the world. She moves from side to side of my
desk and some times ads talk to the process too.

Some things I'm grateful for today: (items in red are pre-gratitude - an effort to boost the Universe's enthusiasm for granting my wishes.)

When despair starts to kick in, we get
up close and head butts.... Last night
there was despair... poor girl.

I had an emotional hangover when I woke up this morning- because I got loudly off center with worry last night...
So prayers and apologies, small 'thought offerings' to get right early this morning. Now gratitude seems appropriate and genuinely possible again...Thanks.

That's a pretty good message I think.
Those icicles are like angels was my first thought and then the Oscar awards popped into my head. :)
